The 1975 Crispa Redmanizers season was the maiden season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA)
First season
- The Crispa Redmanizers did not start out with a strong lineup, fielded in names such as Cesar Ijares, Eric Leano, Alex Azurin, Joel Gomez, Rey Vallejo, Jess Sta.maria, they lost their very first PBA game to Noritake Porcelainmakers, at that time, the big names were held in the amateurs as a concession to BAP president Lito Puyat, who said he was taking in the stars to the national team, But due to the inaction of Puyat, Danny Floro, Crispa team manager took in his stars to the pro team, and some were dropped from the roster.
Championship (rivalry w/Toyota)
- Crispa placed Runner-up to Toyota in the first two PBA Conferences, in the 2nd Conference finals, with the Comets leading the series, 2-1, the Redmanizers did not show up in Game 4 and forfeited the championship in favor of Toyota when the management's request for a change in choosing referees was denied by PBA Commissioner Leo Prieto.
- In the Third conference called All-Philippine Championship, reinforced by Pete Crotty and Johnny Burks, Crispa finally won over Toyota, for their first PBA crown. The Redmanizers got the nod in the yearend of "Seven-Up All-Filipino Sports Award" for the team of the year.
Notable dates
- May 10: the first official Crispa vs Toyota game was played at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Crispa won, 139-133.
- May 15: Philip Cezar recorded the very first triple-double in PBA history, scored 23 points, pulled down 16 rebounds and blocked 10 shots as Crispa won over Royal Tru Orange, 122-106.
- September 14: Crispa defeated Seven-Up, 117-102 in the very first PBA out-of-town game held at the Wesleyan Gym in Cabanatuan City.
